Description
The Sarajevska Brewery opened in 1864 as the first local industry and shortly became one of the leading producers in Bosnia, with considerable amounts exported to Montenegro, Croatia and Albania. Just before World War I, Sarajevska Pivara was producing 116,000 hectoliters per year, and in 1916 it passed the limit of 150,000 hl.

The brewery survived both World Wars. In 1957, the first automatic line for bottling beer with a capacity of 5,000 bottles per hour was put into operation, and in the following 15 years, all facilities were reconstructed, so the production capacity was increased to 400,000 hectoliters per year.

At the start of the eighties the Sarajevo brewery was in the biggest crisis during its entire history, and in the former Yugoslavia it fell to the 20th place out of a total of 28 breweries in the former Yugoslavia. The decline was successfully stopped by the arrival of Mr. Hilma Selimović as general director. By 1991, the Brewery was modernized, and its production increased by three times, so the Sarajevo Brewery was ranked among the four leading breweries in the former Yugoslavia.

Sarajevo Brewery is the leading B&H brewery. company in the production of beer, carbonated and non-carbonated water, soft drinks and juices. Production takes place at the company's headquarters in the old part of Sarajevo, on an area of about 17,400 m2.

0,5 bottle - In a traditional tömzsi beer bottle, large but loose, quickly evaporating, light pale beer. The aroma is pungent, hoppy, resinous, maybe a little corny, but not bad. For a smooth lager, the malt to hop ratio is very good. The carbonation is good, the sip is not so watery. A delicious classic light beer with a suitably bitter, good aftertaste. Thank you for the gift!

Hagyományos tömzsi sörösüvegben, nagy, de laza, gyorsan apadó, világos halvány sör. Illata szúrós, komlós, gyantás, talán kicsit kukoricás beütésű, de nem rossz. Sima lager létére a maláta és komló arány igen jó. Jó a szénsavasság, a korty nem annyira vizes. Megfelelően keserű, jó utóízű finom klasszikus világos ser. Köszönöm az ajándékot!
