Light gold colour. Aroma is a bit leathery and with lots of fresh apple. Taste is mostly apple, fairly complex, sweet up front and then tart in the finish. To descibe it, similar body and profile to sn American cider, but quite a bit more complex.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head, which disappears quickly. Aroma is sour fresh apples with some vanilla and mild woodenness. Flavour is bigtime wooden and apples. Some slight hints of grapes, in a very white wineish way. Pleasant and really enjoyable. My first cider is hereby rated on RB...

Bottled. Pale yellow, brief fizzy head. Citric nose. Tart, sparkling and fresh with flavour of apple skins and Granny Smiths. Lightly minerally and vastly refreshing with a depth of flavours that commercial South African ciders can only dream about. Really good!
