6.4%. A reddish brown ale with a thin brown head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light Gueuze character, light lactic notes, agave nectar? In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light cinnamon, light candy sugar, interesting. On tap at Fiebre de Malta.

Draught at La Graciela, Mexico City. Opaque black, no head. Rich aroma of quality licorice. Mid sweet with clean, well rounded mouthfeel. Loads of licorice, some tobacco and figs. Firmly malty with fudge and licorice. Salty tobacco finish. Rich and really well crafted. A great way to celebrate my 100th Mexican rating!

Draught at Fiebre de Malta. Dark brown, small beige head. Chocolaty nose with some faint grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Cocoa and mild grapefruity hops. Long bitterish finish. Thoroughly well made beer, albeit very light for a black IPA

Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Clear bronze colour, mid sized head. Interesting bubblegum aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mothfeel. Richly malty with strawberry esters, bread and blueberry jam. Low bitterness. Peculiar, but well made and tasty.

A reddish copper ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, butterscotch malt with no hops, like an Irish red. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with fruity notes, burned caramel, herbal hops, so-so. On tap at Fiebre de Malta, March 29 2013.
