Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 30, 2024. Aroma is moderately hoppy with passion fruit, guava and tropical citrus. Light dank, oily resin notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes. Pours a very hazy, dull, golden straw color with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Fairly high amount of lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of tropical citrus with lighter notes of passion fruit, pineapple and dank, resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid hazy DIPA but it's not as hoppy as I was expecting, especially in the aroma. Alcohol and bitterness and balanced. This beer could just use more juicy hop character.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 26, 2024. Aroma is moderately hop forward with notes of passion fruit, guava, tropical citrus and lighter oily, resin notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, pale, yellow-gold color with a large, fairly thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate hop notes of passion fruit, guava and tropical citrus with a lighter oily, resin note that lingers in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid IPA. It has an impressively light malt profile for having a 7.2% ABV and a lighter body to go with it. Hop notes are nice and allowed to shine because of the light malt profile. Could maybe have a bit more hop aroma and flavor, but the bitterness is right.
