MBCC. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 100519

Sample @ MBCC yellow session. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden/amber. Aroma and taste are cinnamon, fruits, apples, vanilla and hops. Sweet finish.

Sample @ MBCC yellow session. Nice head with good duration. Color is hzy golden. Aroma and taste are rich tropical fruits, flowers, malt and hops. Long bitter finish.

On the afternoon of 26th March 2019 my wife and I tried four flights (of four beers) in the centre section of the Bagby Beer Company in Oceanside, two flights of their own beers and two flights of guests. This is one of those 16 beers. Light haze to the golden pour, white crust on top. A strange one this, not too sure barrel aging light lagers/helles is worth the effort. aroma held a lot more citrus esters than it did oak or any wood notes. The taste also on the citrus side with no real suggestion of aging. It was fine and drinkable but lacked 'oomph'.
