355mL bottle at El Grifo, pours a clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is laid back, with bready malt, a touch of caramel, and a touch of red fruits. Flavour is sour—this is infected as hell—with sour red fruits that dominate and ruin any malty depth. Totally infected—undrinkable.

A deep reddish copper barley wine with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light vinous character, alcohol warmth, light herbal hops, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, alcohol warmth, light vanilla, pleasant. On tap at Pacheco Taproom.

Florals and coriander. Has more of a vibe of a light Belgian blonde than the farminess of a saison. But this is still a beer I enjoy either way. Golden pour with decent head. A light bit of hay. Very pleasant. Light bittersweet finish--pretty breezy feeling here. Probably the best beer I remember having from Cosaco. Bottle from a coffee shop in CDMX.

Some citrus and OK malt background. Something a little off in the malt here, like slightly buttery, but it's just a tinge. Definitely drinkable, and better than most Mexican macro beers. Golden pour with ok head. Bottle.

Not sure if this is the same beer, but they call it the Guera and it's a Belgian pale ale for sure - pretty decent for style. Pours golden amber with decent head and lacing. Florals and some light citrus. Tangy bitter end.
