A deep reddish copper barley wine with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light vinous character, alcohol warmth, light herbal hops, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, alcohol warmth, light vanilla, pleasant. On tap at Pacheco Taproom.

Florals and coriander. Has more of a vibe of a light Belgian blonde than the farminess of a saison. But this is still a beer I enjoy either way. Golden pour with decent head. A light bit of hay. Very pleasant. Light bittersweet finish--pretty breezy feeling here. Probably the best beer I remember having from Cosaco. Bottle from a coffee shop in CDMX.

Some citrus and OK malt background. Something a little off in the malt here, like slightly buttery, but it's just a tinge. Definitely drinkable, and better than most Mexican macro beers. Golden pour with ok head. Bottle.

Not sure if this is the same beer, but they call it the Guera and it's a Belgian pale ale for sure - pretty decent for style. Pours golden amber with decent head and lacing. Florals and some light citrus. Tangy bitter end.

Draft. Dark brown. Smells like it’s going to be sweet, but it’s more of a balanced chocolatey character. A bit watery in the finish....too macrobrewed for my tastes, restrained flavours.

Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Copper colour, mid sized head. Perfumy roasty nose. Mid dry with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Roasty malt with slight notes of bubblegum and marzipan, as well as coffee. Above all its deeply malty with toast and slight raisin. Mid bitter finish. With its deep balanced character and flavour richness it’s a real winner!
