12 oz. can. Pours black, with a big, frothy, beige head. The nose is milk chocolate, juniper berries, vanilla, and butterscotch. Sweet and malty, with a bit of roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a thick mouthfeel. This is a pretty mellow and tasty porter.

Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, bourbon and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, oaky bourbon and dark chocolate. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & Liquor in Colorado Springs, CO. Pours a pitch dark color with some rusty highlights and a large, thick, creamy tan head and excellent retention. Decent lacing. Aroma of dark malts and chocolate. The flavor matches the nose. Dark malt flavor up front and a little bittering chocolate in the finish. Not as sweet as I expected. Thick enough mouthfeel. The 6.5% ABV is well hidden. A solid, repeatable stout.

Half pour Tulip glass, draft at Euclid Hall in Denver, Colorado. The pour is a sight haze golden yellow with a foamy white 1 inch head, great lace on the glass. The aroma is fresh malt, bready, lemon citrus, and a touch of earth mineral. The taste is fresh and clean, bright cracker malt, full round bready then bright earth and citrus hop, finishing with the mineral. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation and the crisp mineral finish. Super nice.

Draft at Trails End Taproom in Colorado Springs, CO. Clear gold color with a white head. Strong blueberry aroma. More blueberry flavor than wheat flavor. The blueberry isn't cloying. Clean and fruity. Well done.

Can at the Beer Bank Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, toffee caramel malt, honey, subtle chilli spice palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A little too rich for me and lacks any carbonation. The chilli was nice but I’d have preferred more of a kick. It might have given the beer a signature.
