Bouteille de 500ml. Olfactif: Quelques effluves herbacées sur une base plutôt maltée aux tons de caramel et de biscuit. Sensation à la limite du caoutchouc. Visuel: Mousse blanche rocailleuse d’un doigt et demi qui se maintient passablement bien, sur un liquide doré limpide. Gustatif: Entrée de bouche caramélisée avec aussi du biscuit, amenant une finale herbacée amère. Texture plus épaisse que la norme du style. Bonne présence des houblons mais accents maltés un peu trop en évidence. Effervescence juste. En résumé: un peu trop grasse pour le style, le malt est trop en évidence au détriment des éléments de la levure. Passe tout juste.

Bottled, from Broue Ha Ha, Gatineau. Clear golden, small head. Mineral nose with some soapy hay. Dry with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Sourdough and hay, some minerals and butter. Metallic bitterish finish. There are pleasant aspects of this - the mild hay-like hops and the rustic buttery minerals. The hard and edgy malt profile does it no service at all however.

Bottle: Poured a clear light golden color pilsner with a large white foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with some light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of residual sugar notes with some cereal notes and light herbal notes. Body is above average with good carbonation. Not bad but a bit short on attenuation.
