Keg at the brewery bar. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white topping. Nice IPA, moderately juicy, with fresh citrus fruits and pale bread. Moderately bitter with notes of grass and pine needles. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty well balanced to finish, lightly resinous, with some further citrus and pale malts sugars. Very deecent.

At Threes: Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is yeast, a bit of funk, and bread. Taste is much the same. It is bready and spicy. The finish is quite nice. Mouthfeel is really smooth. This has low abv but it is not at all watery.

At the tasting: Pours golden with white head. Aroma is hop nuggets and cannabis nuggets. Taste is kind of like eating hop nuggets. That said, this isn’t all that bitter. The IBU is way lower than plenty of other IPAs out there. In fact, this is below the style range. I thought it was interesting. Seldom have I drank something that reminds me so strongly of fresh hop nuggets. Maybe it is just because I was getting this superfresh.

Tasting at the brewery: Pours golden with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, in good amount. Hints of pine in there as well. Taste is not very bitter at first, though the hops seem to get more pronounced as this warms. This isn’t really trying to be super-hoppy though, but rather maximize the citrus flavors of the hops. I don’t really know what bright means, so no comment on that aspect. Subtle. Quite nice.

First official bier at the tasting: Pours golden with a small white head. It was served too cold and was allowed to sit a little longer than it should have (as the brewmaster admitted, so my impression takes that into account... I also intentionally let some sit for a while to warm up). Aroma is light fruitiness and farmhouse. Not that much brett in the nose, as much as I could tell. Taste is mostly fruity. Dry towards the end. Minimal hoppiness. I thought I got hints of anise around the finish. Or maybe it was something else... Not bad. I would like to try this at a more carbonated point.

Tap at the brewery pre-launch: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is a bunch of saison yeast right up front, grass, hay, and a hefty helping of spice and hops. Taste is rather spicy, peppery and hoppy for a saison. Finish and all is very, very dry. Neverthless, it was nice, and I was thirsty.
