Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Clear golden body with a big, creamy white head. Not much aroma, some pale malt and grain basically. Pretty weak in flavor as well, pale malt, grain, hint of fruit and spicy yeast, low bitterness. Medium body and short aftertaste. Pretty boring and not particular good either.

Bottle. It’s a pale yellow-ish golden beer with a small, dense, white head. The aroma is quite weak, grainy and grassy, with pale malt notes and a touch of pine cones. It’s quite dry, rather thin and with a decent carbonation. Grainy pale malts, grass, pine cones and some bitterness in the flavor. Lasting bitter, grassy finish. Nothing bad going on here, it’s just plain boring. 170107

Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, grass and floral. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long grain, grass and floral finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, apple, yeast and grassy. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty, apple and grassy finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A dense, off-white head forms over a hazy golden colored beer. The aroma is lightly diacetyl-ish, but mostly on the fruity side. Some pale malts. It’s medium bodied, soft and quite dry, with a nice carbonation. Pale malts, some resins and pine cones, with a grassy touch. Long finish with a nice bitterness. Not bad, but a bit unclean aroma. 170107

Big fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish floral, weeds, minerals, old grass, rotten leafs, raw cabbage, minerals, rye, paper. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, old leafs, rye, minerals, grass, soil, dried grain, paper, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is kind of strange grainy, wet hay, old grain, minerals, weeds, cereal, old moss, paper. Taste is slightly dry grainy, hay, minerals, cereal, paper, grain, weeds, hints of sour grass. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Boring.

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry spiced, cloves, minerals, grass, cardamom, ginger, citrus peel, dark malts, paper. Taste is mineraly and kind of neutral, weeds, metal tank, grass, cloves, minerals, cardamom, paper, dark malts. Medium bitterness, watery and metallic mouthfeel. Meh!

Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Frisk og god aroma og smak med malt, appelsin, honning og gress. Fin munnfylde og med behagelig bitterhet i ettersmaken blir dette svært lettdrikkelig.
