Huge beige head. Clear deep dark reddish brown still body. Earthy floral spicy aroma with perfumy lavender and cinnamon notes. Dry-sweet caramelly cinnamon taste with lavender soap notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish cinnamon and caramel aftertaste with earthy spicy floral lavender notes. It’s not that bad, but the spice is overdone. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Strømmen.)

Bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Hamar. White head atop, hazy golden body, clingy lacing on the glassware. Ripe fruity nose joined by pale malts. Modest taste profile of mid-sweet fruits, wheat, grass and pale malts. Backdrop of yeasty fruitiness. Easy going, decent lager (Shared with frineds, Ottestad 05.03.2017).

330ml bottle piced up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Hamar. A decent snow white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Warm golden body, near clear. Malty-fruity smell, hints of grass and earth. Honeyed fruity flavours added by wheat and earthy malts. Soft in the mouth. Tart and sweet ending. Not that well balanced. Accepted (03.03.2017).

500ml bottle, batch 0010, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg Hamar. Slightly hazy red-brown body. Solid off-white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Malty aromas of earth and caramel malts. Blended taste of berry fruits, caramel malts, and dark dough. Mild roasted ending. Smooth on the swallow. Pretty nice (Shared with friends, Ottestad 03.03.2017).

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian (thanks a lot!). Pours hazy golden with a small, white head. Rather yeasty and somewhat fruity aroma with hints of citrus and grass. Moderate sweet with fairly messy yeasty and fruity flavours and a certain bitterness. Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: rødlig kobber med tett fint skum som varer. Litt maltaroma og tilsvarende smak, humleprofilen er helt i bakgrunnen. Lett floral bitterhet i ettersmaken. Desverre et helt intetsigende øl.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Almost clear golden body with a big white head. Not much aroma, grainy with hint of malt, rather typical pale lager aroma. Flavor is medium sweet pale malt, grain and light grassy bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Quite ordinary, average macro lager flavors here. Not very interesting.
