0.33 l bottle from ’Bierfabriek’ Amsterdam, best before February 2016. Clear, straw yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Faint, sweetish-malty aroma of hay, sweet grains and some citrus with hints of butter and vanilla. Slightly bitter, grassy and lightly fruity taste of hay, citrus and some vanilla, followed by a crisp, slightly bitter, grassy and minimally metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, refreshing pilsener!

0.3 l on tap at ’Bierfabriek’ Amsterdam. Dark brown to black with a thin, creamy, tan to brown head. Faint, sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and raisins. Sweetish, roasty-malty, slightly fruity taste of coffee, dark chocolate, raisins and burnt nuts, followed by a medium long, roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid, nothing special.

0.5 l ceramic bottle from ’De Bierfabriek’ in Amsterdam. Clear, luscious yellow with a medium large, fluffy, rather quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy, slightly floral aroma of banana, apricot, clove, some vanilla and citrus. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy, minimally watery taste of banana, clove, apricot, vanilla and hints of citrus, followed by a short, yeasty-spicy and slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice but bland ale.

Sweetish, fruity-malty aroma of orange, tangerine, apricot jam, wild honey and some pine. Sweetish, fruity-malty, minimally watery taste of orange, apricot jam, strawberries, wild honey and hints of pine, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter and resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Easily drinkable but a bit bland because of the restrained flavours.
