Description
Bij Bierfabriek Amsterdam brouwen we ons eigen bier. Lekker ambachtelijk. Dit gebeurt in de bierbrouwerij middenin ons restaurant. Een prachtige stellage en absolute eyecatcher als je binnen komt. Ieder bier dat we brouwen is karakteristiek, maar ook toegankelijk van smaak.

A small bottle from Mia C’Bon near NCCU. Aroma: sweet ‘n’ sour, mostly sour. Appearance: semi-opaque amber, one finger off-white cream. Palate: full-bodied and sticky, carbonation is fizzy; full mouthfeel, finishes long. Taste: lightly sweet and nicely balanced, alcohol is discreet, plenty of almond. Good stuff, would like to try it draught.

A small bottle from Mia C’Bon near NCCU. Aroma: yeasty, fresh bread. Appearance: semi-opaque oxtail soup, massive tan head rapidly dissipating. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, carbonation - a gusher - I took it out the fridge 20 minutes before drinking, and lost a lot of it across the desk. Finish is malty, the rather pleasant aftertaste doesn’t linger. Taste: lightly sweet with plenty of malt, some biscuit and almond. Serviceable.

A small bottle from Mia C’Bon near NCCU. Aroma: very rich and inviting, kirsch chocolate liqueurs. Appearance: opaque cola, very generous rocky tan head. Palate: medium-bodied and very oily, carbonation on the lively side; finish is long and well-roasted. Taste: lightly sweet with bitter notes, 100% cocoa chocolate, alcohol punches above its weight. Good stuff, very enjoyable.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Nicely grainy aroma with straw, hay, soft noble hop. Hint of citrus. Moderate bitter with a light sweetness. Body is medium. Ticks the right Pilsener boxes. Had this before when it was brewed at Alfa, but this new version seems improved.
