(Bottle 25 cl) Normal pilsener golden colour, decent gead, Nice balance between hops and malt sweetness. Not that different from a Danish standard pils. This entry should be titled "Bockor Pils". 070205

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with white head. Passionfruit in aroma. Strong passionfruity flavour with sweet ending. A bit sticky palate. Very nice for a beer, looks like I enjoy these "lemonade-beers" .)

Bottle Deep red, clear body. Creamy pink head, nice lace, but fully diminishing. Sirupy, sweet cherry aroma. Tastes like cherry-sirupe. Should not be called beer.

[Draft at The Evening Star, Brighton] A red beer with a small pink head. The aroma is sweet and totally dominated by cherries, and so is the flavor. No real sourness detected anywhere.

Bottled 25cl, alc. 3.2% (BB 11/2005)
Deep, clear "kriek" red, beautiful big red head, whip cream thick, lace. Fresh cherry flavor (lacking normal sourness of krieks), slightly metallic. Medium-bodied. Very refreshing cherry flavor with nice tart finish. Not much sweetness, but not very sour either. An excellent kriek and a positive suprise - at least as good as "normal" Jacobins Kriek.

Ridicously (unless for the brewer) high yellow-peach head, leaving lace; orange-gold beer. Bit soapy nose, garden herbs (chervil), gassy. Surprisingly fruity (citrussy, or peach/nectarine), obviously from the yeast, as yeasty components, like meaty notes, abund in the beer. Tastes very young. Light to medium bodied. Filterered, but the feel is quite yeast)oriented, creamy. Aftertaste is sweet. I’m not impressed. Too neutral-sweet by half. This seems the retaking of an abandonned name.

Dirty brown, creamy head, leaving beautiful fine lace; great red-brown, clear ale.Gorgeous nose of lactic acid, fruity esters and wood. Very subtle fruity taste, like freshly picked blueberries, wood, and soft lactic taste, as a yoghurt with "fruits of the forest". More woody-lactic notes in the aftertaste; tart, chewy, medium-bodied, slightly slick. Very nice oud bruin, probably among the best in the style for the blended ones.

Draught
Bright red, small cherry head, lots of nice red lace. Sour cherry aroma. Sweet cherry flavor with sour carbonated mouthfeel with a pleasant sweetish aftertaste. Close to Lindemans Kriek.

Rosy-orange, pink grapefruit colour, pinkish head, lacey. Fruity nose, pink grapefruit-like, but also like something a frivolous bar would choose to odour the loos with... Very strange, sweet fruit flavour, ending in a drier, but very perfumed finish. Flavour is neither grapefruit, neither passionfruit - something like a designers’ exotic fruit. Cube formed for grip, and accordingly tasting, if you catch my drift. Apart from the restrained dryness at the finish, light bodied, fruitjuice-like. Not the worst of this new aberrational wave - neither the best. Artificial.
