Tiny bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, leafs, hops, dried fruits, bark, lawn, winegum, dried grain, malt candy, weeds, hay. Taste is dry grassy, weeds, bark, old leafs, harsh hops, lawn, paper, light malts, pine needles. Longlasting bitterness, kind of a harsh sparkling and watery mouthfeel. Boring!

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly smoked, shed, sweaty cheese, hay, nuts, weeds, light malts, caramel, smoked ham. Taste is slightly harsh and smoked, weeds, hay, caramel, slightly smoked malts, cardboard, grass, smoked ham. Medium bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Medium white head. Hazy amber body with lots of little floaties. Resiny tropical fruit aroma with spicy wooden notes. Dry-sweet resiny wooden taste with fruity mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish spicy minty fruity aftertaste with toffee and toast notes. Buttery, minty flavour lingers. Nice, drinkable, fairly fresh. The butter really lingers for a long time, and is quite strong, causing me to subtract a point. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Oslo City. Batch #105, I think.)

Poured from a 330ml bottle, bought at Meny Oslo City. Unclear orange-red coloured body, naked surface. Vague aroma of sugar sweet malts. Bland taste of sweet malts. Watered and flat on the swallow. Tasteless (hotel room, Oslo 21.06.2014).

Pours clear brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and something kind of rotten. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is flat.

Bottle. As Korvald Søndre Frk. Fryd, brewed at Korvald Søndre. A hazy amber beer witha minimal sized light beige head. The aroma is like a blend of puke, candy and some light toasted bread, not much pleasant. Rottening strawberries both in the aroma and the flavor. Toast, some caramel and a faint bitterness in the flavor. Medium body, low carbonation. Puke and old garbage in the finish, with some toast and caramel. Damn this is bad. 140503

Gul klar i fargen med tynt hvitt skum. Malt og kornlukt. Lett, lite smak litt søtlig malt er det eneste. Daff, skuffende øl. Flaske og etikett trekker opp.

Duft av gammel råtten trevirke. Grumset gulbrun farge. Lite skum. Smak av vann og tre. Dette burde det være retur rett på selv etter at man har åpnet flasken. Opprinnelig ratet 26.03.2014 Dengang som Korvald Søndre Frk Fryd Brygget av den gang Korvald Søndre Mikrobryggeri i Mjøndalen, Buskerud.

Fra flaske (batch 40) på Cardinaltreff mars-14: jeg begriper ikke hvorfor dette er sendt ut på markedet, er det sviktende kvalitetskontroll eller mener de virkelig at øl skal lukte og smake som dette? Tror aromaen er noe av det mest ufriske jeg har kjent i et ølglass noensinne. Det er heller ingen fryd over smaken, tynt, slapt og ubeskrivelig kjipt. Avholdbevegelsen må juble.
