Worst aroma I’ve ever smelled of a beer. Old gym socks and barn. Could be used with success in any teetotalling campaign. After airing it for a while I collected enough courage to taste it. Some amber or crystal malt. Sugarwatery mouthfeel. Barely drinkable.

Bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger, 20140324. Caramel, sweet. Tastes like insufficiently attenuated extract beer. Stale scent.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Batch #40. ABV is 4.25%. Amber colour, off-white head goes rapidly from low to none. Sweetish and unpleasant aroma, some caramel, signs of an undefined infection. Fizzy mouthfeel. Utterly bland and boring flavour, no sign of hops. The most useless beer I’ve had in a long time. Drainpour.

Uklar gylden brun med lite beige skum, søtlig litt surøllukt. Smaker også litt surt og søtt. Lite kullsyre og bitterhet. Mulig feil på flasken, men jeg er glad i surøl så det slår eventuelt ut positivt.

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 4.7%. My 500 ml weissbier glass fills completely by white foam, and the pale golden beer appears only slowly. Weird aroma, spicy and hard to describe, but not unpleasant. The flavour is citric / lemony, no banana notes and hardly any cloves, but refreshing.

Svovelpreget med karamell og fuktighet. Rar kornsmak på ølet og med en stikkende munnfølelse der himla kommer lite frem.

33cl bottle from Meny Ringnes park. Pours clear golden with a white head. BB date is October 2013, but it smells old and unfresh. I’ve tried this several times before, but not in the last couple of years. This one is far from how I remember it, no longer a refreshing and hoppy pilsner, but it probably infected like other reviewers are writing about. Overripe or slightly rotten apples is the aroma with notes of malt and vinegar. Slightly sour, hints of bitterness and actually quite unpleasant. Meget fruktig og bæraktig. Endel syre og såpesmak indikerer mulig infeksjon og kanskje lagringsskade. Men over bb dato.

Over BB-dato. Initielt fenolisk, røykaktig og kjemisk. Deretter litt tynt og med syrlig ettersnert. Må være infisert, dessverre.
