Backlog. Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 22.04.13. Clear brown. Aroma of dark malt with some sourness. Also a little sour taste. Fine aftertaste of caramel malt and some hops. Good drinkability

Men over bb dato.

Flaske på Cardinaltreff april-13: bjørnen er i vinterdvale. En tynn og intetsigende dnukel. Savner innsatsvilje her.

Shared bottle at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate but nice aroma of caramel, mild spices, ripe berries and bread. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel. Moderate flavour with the same elements as in the aroma. Minimal hops.

33cl bottle. Pours brown with an off-white head. Lightly malty aroma with hints of caramel and some roasted notes. Pretty light bodied with some flavour of lightly roasted malt. Lightly sweet with some bitterness in the finish. (2012-05-26)

330ml bottle at Amundsen in Oslo. Good looking with its white-beige head and deep, rosewood body. Fragile laceworks, too. Bitter malty to the nose. Flavour was slightly roasted chocolate malts with dusty hops beneath. Notes of anise towards a rather short finish. Alright and paired well with my salty food, 27.04.2011.

330 ml bottle @ Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri. Deep red body with a diminishing off-white head. Mild aroma of light roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is soft and light malty, caramel, moderate roast and not much bitterness. Medium body. Quaffable and a bit plain, but quite OK actually.

Tank at the brewery. It poured golden to copper-colored, clear, and with a dense, beige head. A nice blend of malt, caramel and hops in aroma and flavor. Medium body and a nice finish. The bottling machine was about to be mounted, and I hope they are finished with that work in the near future. Also looking forward to their stout, which is not yet brewed. (061118)
