Lett tåkete gulbrun med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter korn, syrlige bær og epler, blomster og noe sitrus. Middels fylde. Søtlig smak, banan og honning. Lite bitterhet. Kort.

Flaske (bb. 15.08.16) fra Meny Hønefoss, delt med Einar: champagnesmell i åpningen og et svært højt skum som holdt seg overraskende lenge. At den var overkarbonert maskerte også litt av smaksinntrykkene. Epler, hasselnøtter, brente mandler, jord, ristet brød. Godt førsteinntrykk, men den ble etter hvert heller tynn og intetsigende.

Flaske fra Gulating Vestkanten, delt med Einar: lett uklar gylden (hvorfor i all verden heter den Black??) med tett, hvitt skum som varer helt ned. Appelsin og urter i aroma og smak. Fint karbonert - det gir behagelig friskhet, og den tørre ettersmaken med fin, floral bitterhet (igjen med nyanser av appelsin) gjør det fristende å gripe etter glasset igjen. Et ørlite anstrøk av aske helt mot slutten.

Flaske fra Meny Hønefoss, delt med Einar: gyllen med fint skum som oppfører seg eksemplarisk helt ned. Parfymert aroma med fersken, mango og søt appelsin. Behagelig mild apa-smak med tropiske frukter, citrus og litt gress. God butikkøl, med fint avrundet bitterhet i avslutningen.

Huge white head. Hazy opaque pale yellow body with light carbonation. Fruity mealy aroma with coriander notes, kind of vague. Dry-sweet orangey mealy taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry-sweet mealy sugary orangey aftertaste with toffee notes. The initial flavour is excellent, but then it kind of dies off a little. It’s OK. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Strømmen. Batch #94.)

Lys brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Kornete lukt, lett humle, smørmaltdrops og noe honning. Lett søtlig honningsmak i starten, middels bitterhet kommer utover.

Golden with white head - Malt with some hints of fruity hop in the aroma - Malt body with a nice hop profile that gives tropical fruity tones with bitterness - The hops goes into the finish that goes dry in the end and lasts - This was nice

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, white head. Not much resemblance to the name of the beer, that’s for sure. Pale malts, yellow apples, grass, some hay and a faint spiced touch in the aroma. There’s a fine bitterness in the flavor, with pale malts, grass, some pine cones and some hay and pale malts. It’s medium bodied and dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish with grass, pine cones, some hay and a good dash of bitterness. Very easy drinkable this one, quenching and crisp, but I’m very curious about the name of the beer. 160514
