Black color with a huge tan head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a tad rich carbonation level. Balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Semi dry ending. Quite roasted malt dominated beer. Also some pine, coffee, licorice and some citric notes. A bit to much over to the roasted side for me.

500ml bottle, Batch 93, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Firm, snow white head, next to clear pale straw coloured body. Clingy lacing. Modest smell of floral hops with citric hints. Decent flavour profile of dusty hops, lemon, and grain. Mid-dry citric ending. Soft carbonated. Quite pleasing. (Tromsø 05.11.2017).

500ml bottle, batch 86, bought at Vinmonopolet, Langnes. Fawn-coloured tophead blanketing the glass. Opaque close to black coloured body. Creamy malts and pine on the nose. Blended taste of pine needles, ash, and grainy chocolate. Long-lived roasted bitter finish. Smooth on the swallow. Fine bodied and good drinking on a late September Saturday eve. (Tromsø 30.09.2017).
