Black with a dense light beige head. Roasted aroma, some choc and licorice. Sweet malty flavour, bitter licorice, roasted bitterness. Long licorice-y finish. Nice.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Biscuity malt aroma. Medium body, faintly sweet caramel malts with a dry and slightly tart edge. Hardly any bitterness. 110126

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque black with a huge and lacing beige head with excellent retention - a truly goodlooking beer. Sweet chocolate and licorice aroma - hardly any roast. Rich, sweet body - very smooth mouthfeel. A little rustic and perhaps fusty, but nothing that seriously disturbs the overall picture. No real bitterness. The meadowsweet I cannot find though. 100126

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dar brown with a deep burgundy hue. Creamy beuge head. Slightly dusty aroma with a hint of roast. Thin body, a slight sweetness and again a hint of roast, but also minerakky - even salty. Absolutely no bitterness. Quite drinkable. 100126

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Nose of dark, dried fruits and Belgian esters. Cascade dryhopping, really? A tart hint. Medium body, same flavors as above and now the tartness turns into a full blown lactic infection. Seriously Fur, after all of these years.... 041225

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a neat and lacing, off-white head. Heavy diacetyl aroma atop some faint caramel. Light body, incredibly sweet caramel accents and some rather brutal, finishing bittering hops. At least it looks good. 081025

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a dense and lacing, off-white head. Earthy aroma of very British hops. Kinda light in the body with very sweet malts and rather potent bittering hops. Very British in style indeed. 081025
