Bottled(500ml). -Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, low carbonation. Moderate malty, surprisingly fruity and hoppy with noticable alcohol presence. Short rather sugary finish, but all in all good bock.

Bottle. Greenish-golden coloured with a medium-sized, slowly collapsing white lacy head. Papery-grassy nose, dry bitter flavour, light bodied. grassy bitter finish. Tastes like a nasty German Premium Pils.......

Draught at Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. Nut brown, fair sized head. Aroma of café au lait with too much sugar. Very sweet, very gently roasty and very low hop rate. Mild, but heavy on the sugar. Sweetness overloads it.

Draught at Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. Clear golden, firm head. Soft and fruity. Sweet with spun sugar, fruit and butter. Mediu-full bodied with seemless soft mouthfeel. Sugar gradually turns to dough that slowly fades out in a finish without bitterness. Lovely malt character, but too much sugar.

Bottle. Banana, clove, wheat malt aroma - hint of vinegar. Hazy yellow color with small head. Banana and sour wheat malt flavor. This bottle a bit past its prime but still can tell this is a well made Hefe.

500ml bottle. Hazy yellow color Creamy and yeasty, displaying some excellent Wit characteristics,,,,hold up, this one is clearly labeled as a White Beer under the Weisse, not a Hefeweizen. Perhaps a little heavier hopped than most White Ales, but not overboard. A great beer.

Aroma of citrus and light spice. Hazy amber gold color with a white head lacking retention. Near medium body with mild carbonation. The flavor is a bit yeasty with some citrus, and arguably a bit of clove. Something puts a light bite on the tongue. Pretty clean. Not your typical banana hefe. More towards a very lightly spiced witbier. Pretty refreshing.

300ml vom Fass at Krah Krah, downtown Vienna. Beige, medium head mostly lasting. Deep mahogany body. Very good looking, indeed. Served a bit too cold, but as it warms up the flavour brings roasted dark malts and nuts. The best part is a lovely lingering aftertaste of slightly sweet chocolate malts (01.12.2007).

Cloudy peach color, just a skimming of foam by settle time....smells a bit sour mixed with some clove, not very appealing, a twinge of orange as well...creamy and light with the same sour taste, not bad quite palatable in fact...haven’t had many, if any Austrian beer, so I don’t have much to go on, but its decent...sediment present
