bottle from the brewery. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Hoppy aroma, quite resiny. Light and elegant malty base, lots of green, resiny hops, grassy. Smooth palate. A bit more malt-accented than Kapsreiter Pils from right next door.

bottle. Clear pale yellow, large persistent white head. Aroma of malt with a hint of lemon and grains. Medium-bodied, grainy-malty flavours with some aromatic hops and a nice fruityness (lemon, peach). Dry and hoppy finish. Well matured and clean Austrian Märzen.

(Sample #4 [bottled] at the first Biertest-Online Gathering, Düsseldorf, 29.12.06) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Slightly sweet fruity maltiness in the aroma with citrousy hops in the background. Sweetish flavour, medium to light bodied, crispy carbonation. Initially rounded malty taste with a light herbal note, but the finish is a bit weak: sweetish with a very light bitterness, also a bit sticky. Still drinkable, but nothing special.

Getrunken beim 1. BTO-Treffen. Hopfiger Geruch. Dezent herb startet das Bier und geht schnell in einen recht würzigen Mittelteil über, der im Nachgeschmack eine kurze Steigerung erfährt. Angenehm, oberes Mittelfeld. Test vom 30.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,10,11,11,8,10 - 10,20
