Bottled(500ml). -from Plus market in Budapest. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, strong skunky corn nose (like n/a beers). Some weak lemony hoppyness, grassy and watery with notes of corn. Typical Pecsi beer.

Bottled(500ml). -Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, boiled potatoes nose. Weak malty, light grainy and watery with touch of herbs and honey. Bitterish finish. Better than Menesi but not much.

Canned(500ml). -Pale yellow coloured, medium sized airy white head that went away slowly, lively carbonation. Dusty lemony-cactus nose. Water with touch of cardboard and that’s all here. No trace of hops, no nothing.

0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Budapest (thanks!). Very palle dull gold body with a medium to big white head leaving heaps of lacing. Ooh, skunk, and some herbal notes. lemon too. Ogi had a somewhat favorable first impression (for a cheap Hungarian lager) but whatever optimism I had in the deepest recesses of my mind before tackling this one got stuck in the wall of stale dust that dominates the taste. Very light malt, some cardboard. Watery. Useless, crap. Unlike some of their other beers this might actually contain the hops. Heck, I think that the hops are on the label only to say "Hey, this is our crap beer, hop edition". It’s better than the cardboard and salt editions. Maybe.

0.5l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Budapest (thanks!). Poured a shiny paaaaale yellow body with a small but persistant white head. Very light lemony and dusty nose, and the taste manages to be even weaker. Trust me, "extremely watery" is an understatement here. And what little there is is cardboard. Oh and there is some carbonation bite. Just when I thought that Pécsi couldn’t outdo themselves...

Slightly sourish vegetable nose. Ooh, promising. Not. Ok, some grain. The taste is weak and, again, grainy, on top of a sourish herbal hopiness. Watery, some apple, crap in general, but there are worse. Far worse. I don’t believe I actually rated this higher than someone...

Can 50cl.Clear light yellow color with a small, virtually none head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, sour malt, paper. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081121]
