Light hazy amber color. Medium white head. Fruity, orange, lemonade-like. Light sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Harsh bitter finish.

(PET bottle 1l from U Martina (Brno)) Overall: Not good. A lot flaws. Aroma: Light sweet, diacetyl, acetaldehyd. Appearance: Hazy golden color. Medium white head. Taste: Medium sweet, diacetyl, acetaldehyd, light bitter. Palate: Medium body. Bitter finish.

Das zwölfgrädige Grüne ist klarerweise etwas intensiver und das erste grüne Bier, das geschmacklich nicht als Basis ein klassisches Helles, sonder ein intensiveres Bier hat. Das kommt auch dem leichten Kräuterton zugute. So hat es einen sxtra starken grasigen-krautigen Körper, der aber auch von einer netten Malzigkeit begleitet wird. Im Abgang wird es wieder recht herb.

Mein nächstes grünes Bier ist ein Elfgrädiges, das den gleichen Namen wie ein bekanntes Alkoholfreies trägt. Zelený ječmen heißt übersetzt nur grüne Gerste, was sich natürlich allerarten interpretieren lässt. Dieses hat im Kern ein klassisches tschechisches Helles, das sehr süffig und aromatisch ist, sodass es die Kräuter schwer haben, außer Duft und Farbe große Änderungen zu erbringen. Ob die zitronige Grasigkeit vom Hopfen oder den beigefügten Kräutern kommt, lässt sich schwer herausfinden. Nettes, süffiges Bierchen, von dem mich das klassische Elfgrädige sehr interessieren würde.

Osterzeit ist Zeit für grünes Bier. Dieses ist nicht so intensiv grün, was ich aber als Beweis sehe, dass es wirklich mit grünen Kräutern gefärbt wurde und nicht mit Lebensmittelfarbe. Geschmacklich erinnert es an ein leichtes Zwickel und lässt sich ganz gut trinken. Als lustiges Osterbier toll, aber dauernd bräuchte ich es auch nicht.

Tap at GP. Actually a lager with wheat and chlorophyll. Wow. Some yeasty touches in the aroma, light wheat, slightly fruity. Lean, dry taste, soft wheaty maltiness, rough, hefty bitter kick. Huh. The bitterness is just too rough, out of place and unbalanced. Shame, but glad these guys are around again.

Tap at Vršovická Galerie Piva. Murky yellow-orange body, white head. Citric, bready, yoghurty, lactic aroma. Hmm... Soft taste, lightly cheesy, somewhat fruity, soft, good mouthfeel, the berry notes are blending seamlessly with the lactic acid, but it's just okay.

Bottle 0.75l. Cloudy, reddish colored. AROMA- sweet red grape must. FLAVOR- moderately sour, dry, a bit tart, must again, tones of red currant. Sirupy body. Tasty.

Bottle 0.75l. Hazy, gold colored. AROMA- low, yeast, sour tones, touch of grape must. FLAVOR- silky, neutral, lightly sour, grape must, sour tones. Medium, but a bit syrupy body. For me tasty.

Tap at Pivovarsky klub. Feels weird, kinda grassy character that crosses over into spices, with light fruitiness - but this all is the hops I guess. Slightly harsh bitterness, med-high amount. Moderate body, moderate carbonation. Drinks a tad slower due to the slightly harsh quality, but otherwise okay. Not great, not terrible.
