Erfrischend hefiger, relativ milder Beginn.

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Clear, bronze to amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel and a tinge of liquorice. Sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Rich roasty malty taste with caramel, notes of liquorice and a light chalky touch. Moderately sweet and slightly roasty and hop bitter finish with a lasting cara-malty aftertaste. Pleasant. 21.IV.10

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Stefan!): Clear, reddish-golden coloured, slowly collapsing creamy off-white head with a little lace; sweetish caramelly-toasty nose with nutty traces and asubtle, sweetish fruitiness; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 5.5%; fruity, caramelly and hoppy finish. Great aroma, average taste......

Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Pale greenish-golden, a bit hazy with some UFO’s , fluffy white head; aromatic-citrussy hop-profile with a good pale-malty background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and pretty soft; slightly lingering dryish hoppy and pale-malty finish. Really good......

(swing top bottle) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly dusty and sweet malty aroma with shades of citrus, herbal hops and notes of band aid/plastic. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bland pale malty and pretty one dimensional taste with shy herbal accents; moderately dry and slightly bitter hoppy finish. Boring. 17.II.10
