Many thanks to McTapps for sharing! Very nice and astringent nose. This cider starts nice dry and not too watery in the beginning. The water is there in the mainpart together with a nice smooth sour-astingent apple-dryness. Fresh and fruity in the aftertaste with lots of water and nice dry and tart apples.

1 litre bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours light golden yellow with a sweetcorn / apple skin aroma. Taste is very much on the light side with a thin sourness and watery green apple tint. Tastes a bit weak & watered down. Not great.

Fruity and a bit mouldy nose. The cider starts fresh and smooth, soft carbonation. Nice tart with a nice tannin body. Fresh and fruity. The astringent Speierling is present, fresh and fruity, smooth and easy to drink with still a bit of a light body. The aftertaste is dry, fruity, light and nice sourish-tart. Nice.

1l bottle. Fruity fresh beginning. Not too sweet, but very mild and smooth. The winter-spices are nice in the background, fruity apples, hints of cinnamon. The aftertaste is fruity-smooth with hints of spices. Nice but the spices are lost in the background and could be a bit more intense.

Bottle 500ml. clear glass @ [ The pre Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Höhl Der Alte Hochstädter Cidre ].Clear light to medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is light apple, apple skin - peel, green apples. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet apple, green apples, apple syrup - concentrate . Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20140228]

Very pale in the glass, fruity and tart nose. This cider (with added berries from sorbus domestica ) is very tart in the beginning. Fruity, but not as apple-fruity like the "Urtyp fruchtig". Easy to drink with hints of water. The aftertaste is sorbus domestica typical sour-tart, apple fruity and medium to long.

Golden in the glass, fruity and tart nose. The cider starts very dry, tart and fruity. Easy to drink and not really watery. Typical Frankfurt cider with no carbonation. Very tart in the end, fruity apples leaving a sour-tart aroma on the tongue.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Clear pale blonde with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is apples, orchard wood, sugars. Taste comprises tangy apples, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, zingy applefied close. Ok cider.

Bottle. A clear, golden cider with a small white head. The aroma is pretty weak, sweet apples mostly, not much more to detect. It’s pretty dry on the palate, almost puckering, with flavors of apples and a little fruity sweetness. Short finish with some metal. A quite decent one, but not very exciting. 140228
