Bottle, 75cl. Cellared five years. It’s almost clear, dark golden in color and flat. Rather oily. It’s honey-ish and heather-ish in the aroma, sweetish and lightly caramelish with a good dash of alcohol. Some cellar notes in the flavor, with caramel sweetness. Fruity notes. Some dried fruits and a good dash of honey and heather. Full body, oily and warming. Lasting finish. Seems it was a good idea to cellar it for this long. The oxidation is just a nice added touch, and it doesn’t feel as boozy as the fresher bottle I tasted. 140808

Bottle at home this is something you’d rather share than drink whole thing but alas I took on challenge. Pours caramel with sweet honey and ginger on nose. Tastes of honey, toffee, orange peel, spicy ginger, lime, and raisins. Slightly Cloying and odd palate. finishes like orange soda

Bottle, 70cl stoneware. A more or less clear one, amber in color, quite oily. No carbonation or head. The aroma is quite flowery, with heather honey and alcohol. Some earthy and citrusy hints. It’s sweet and honey tasting with some flower and berries. Way too warming I think, full bodied and velvety on the palate. Lasting finish with some berries and herbs and quite a lot of honey and sweetness, and of course alcohol. Wouldn’t mind this one with the alcohol subdued. As it is now it’s way, way to warming. 140331
