01-01-17 // 1000ml bottle shared. Black in colour with a small beige head. Taste of roasted malts, sweet, carmael, some toffee, light coffee, some bread, minimal fruity touches. Was a bit too cold when we drank it.

28-08-19 // 1000ml bottle shared. Murky brown. White head. „Spritzige Schoko-Banane“ is fitting. Good wheat body, yeasty with loads of banana. The chocolate notes are good. Pleasant.

Leicht hefiger, getreidig malziger Beginn. Der Dinkelanteil ist deutlich erkennbar, dunkles Malz, steigend hefig. Milde Süße, wenig herb. Weich hefig-getreidiger Abgang. Gelungen. 12/10/11/10//11

Süffiger, weich getreidig herber Beginn. Wenig aber erkennbar hopfig, leicht bitter, rund. Trocken, weich hopfig im Mittelteil, malzig, etwas Karamell. 10/9/11/10//10

Schnapp-Fläschle (1000ml): Deep ruby-amber coloured, a bit unclear, big and stable brownish head, distinctive bitter-sweet aroma of dark malt with toasty traces and some fruity spots; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and a bit fizzy; mildly lingering dark malty finish with a delicate happiness in the aftertaste. Surely well made, but a bit overrated IMHO....

Schnapp-Flasche (0.01hl, von Susi L.!): Pale golden, hazy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing lacy white head; mild to moderate sweet grainy-worty nose with fruity and yeasty spots underneath, surrounded by a mild bitterness; mild to moderate sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering sweet grainy-malty finish with an increasing amount of woody hops towards the aftertaste. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all a well quaffable drop....
