Very bright golden in the glass, fresh and fruity-dry beginning. Very tart, nearly no sweetness, but very appley-fruity. The aftertaste is tart and dry, very intense and complex. Very interesting! 12/11/12/12

Very dry and fruity in the nose, very intensive. The cider starts with an average carbonation very dry. Nearly no sweetness, quite astringent. The mainpart is quite fruity-appely, very dry, not too sour, nice dry sour apples. On the tongue remains a dry cider-apple profile, still astringent, nice. 10/11/10/11

Säuerlicher Geruch, trockener, adstringierender Start. Tolle Apfel-Aromen, sehr trocken, nicht wässrig. Frisch und herb, trotzdem gut trinkbar. Keine Restsüße. Der Nachgeschmack ist apfelig-herb, trocken, sehr lecker! 12/12/12/12

Very smooth and tart in the nose. This cider starts fruity and not too tart. Nice sour, but quite smooth. The combination of the different fruits fit in great - the sourness of the "Speierling" together with the "Mispeln". Great sour fruity stuff. Not too complex, but deep and tart. The quince-fruitiness is there and fits in great as well. Very nice stuff!! 12/12/13/13

Nice tart and fruity in the nose. The cider starts fruity and tart. Not too voluminous, but easy to drink and fruity. Nice tart, astringent, fruity, sour apples, fresh. Very nice standard-cider. Not as complex as their specialities, but very nice stuff!! 11/12/11/11

(bottle, 75cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour without any head. Mildly sour aroma of apples with hints of cellar and tannic notes. Moderately sour-fruity flavour, light to medium bodied without carbonation. Moderately tart apple-fruity taste with a very dry character; sour and slightly bitter-tart and tannic finish with loads of apple flavours. Pleasant. 22.VIII.12

On tap (@Zur Buchscheer, Frankfurt am Main): Clear, pale golden, no head, dryish apple-fruity nose with mild traces of malic acid, sulphuric-phenolic aromas in the background; mild to moderate dry sourish flavour, light bodied; lingering sourish apple-fruity finish. A kind of a "noble" cider, made from a rare kind of apple, but unfortunately not completely convincing…
