Big offwhite head. Hazy paleish yellow body with light carbonation. Sugary yeasty floral aroma with mealy raisiny notes. Dry floral bready taste with grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Dry grassy floral aftertaste with herbal dandelion notes. Surprisingly sharp bitterness in aftertaste. A bit odd, and not as fresh as one could wish. Too much bread. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.)

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet (bestillingsutvalget). ABV is 4.8%. Clear pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of sweetish pilsener malts and grassy and herbal hops, hints of honey. Reminds me much of their Premium Pils. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is crisp and not too sweet, still with a nice and subtle maltiness, while the the hops are more subdued than in the Premium Pils. An easy-drinking helles.

750 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet (bestillingsutvalget), the unfiltered version of Theresianer Premium Pils. ABV is 5%. Very pale yellow colour, slightly hazy. Moderate but lasting white head. Strong aroma of grassy and herbal hops and sweetish pilsener malts. The flavour is fairly crisp and refreshing, not too sweet, with decent herbal hops again. Not bad.

Bottle, 75cl. Lightly unclear body, amber in color and with a finger-thick off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel, some dried fruits and a bit too evident alcohol. Sweet, malty and caramel-ish flavor with raisins, some generic fruityness. Medium to full body, smooth, but a bit flat. Malty and fruity finish. A bit boring aroma, but quite flavorful. Could easily drink more of this, but I now of several bock’s I’d rather have. 111123

Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, golden in color and with a dense, off-white head. Butterscotch and some fruityness on the nose, some citrusy hints. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Also the flavor has a distinct butterscotch, with fruityness and some citrus. A touch of bitterness too, towards the end. Certainly not my kind of beer, especially the butterscotch drives me away. 111123

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden body and a small, white head. Hoppy nose, with pinecones, orange and pale malts. Nicely carbonated, a bit high maybe, but pleasant. Semi-sweet, medium body. Oranges, pale malts, caramel and some bitterness in the flavor. Long, bitter finish. The flavor is a bit dull, but saved by the finish. Overall, quite pleasant and easy drinkable. 111123

Bottle, 75cl. A hazy, golden beer topped by a dense, small, off-white head. Caramel, butterscotch, banana and some citrusy notes in the aroma. Medium body, with a bit too much carbonation, even for the style. The flavor has banana dominating, with caramel, citrus and bitterness. Dry, bitter finish with caramel. Certainly not a wit, but as a hefeweizen it’s decent. Nothing more though. 111123

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks zvikar. Clear golden. Somewhat grainy aroma with light hoppy notes. Sweetish flavor with malt, finishes bitter with some hops. Rather light-bodied.

Bottle at the bar in the Uffizi in Firenze. Pours dark gold with a moderate foamy white head. Bready aroma. Near med body. Flavor is a fair amount of grassy hop over some breadiness. It’s clean and has none of the typical premium lager nastiness. It is very clean, finishing fairly bitter. A good drink.
