0.33l bottle. Pours a clear light golden body with a decent dense white heat. Aroma is boiled veggies, some wet dog, mild malts and perhaps some dusty hops. Quite anonymous, but not great. This was really low on the flavors but has a nice body. Almost creamy mouthfeeling and it's average carbonated. Does not really taste all that much, but hints of citrus, some light hops and has a mild burning hopy aftertaste. Not bad lager, but quite low on flavor. Think this could be nice with some sushi.

0.33l bottle. Pours a clear golden body with a nice little bubbly white head. Aroma is on the sweet and malty side with notes of thin watery hops. Body is medium, texture surprisingly nice and smooth and it's average carbonated. Quite grainy flavors and has a good sweetness from all the malts. It's also light peachy with lots of nice caramel and quite low on the bitterness. Finishes off with a mild pungent finish and a longasting malty aftertaste with notes of some alcohol. A quite nice pale if you ask me.

0.75l bottle. Pours a nice semi hazy nutty brown body with a decent creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and bready with notes of chocolate-paper and nuts. Softly carbonated, has a really oily texture and medium-bodied. Nice and malty flavors with some burned caramel and a herbal twist in the finish. Have had better bocks, but this was not a bad one.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head of good retention. Sweetish aroma of caramel, molasses and raw alcohol. The fairly sweet flavour has also notes of caramel and molasses, hints of dark dried fruits and liquorice. Too moderate hops. The alcohol is not well hidden.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, large white head of good retention. Decent aroma of grassy and floral Saazer hops, with a hint of honey. The flavour has also nice presence of Saaz, but there is also a pleasant malty sweetness. Overall is this a fairly well balanced pilsener, above average for the style, and very refreshing when cold.

Bottle (Chaucer Cellars). Gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma has hay, apples, pear, butter, grass. Quite sweet. More fruit than hay or caramel, although there’s some butterscotch. Finish is dry but not very bitter. Some astringency from the carbonation. Drinkable but dull.

Bottle from Alko. Poured mahogany color with a thin white head. Very malty aroma with some fruit and alcohol in it. Flavor is sweet malty, nutty. Alcohol in finish. Not really to my liking. Too much taste of alcohol to be enjoyable, although the aroma was quite OK.

Bottled (from Alko). Rubyish amber colour with mediumsized off-white fluffy head that vanishes quite fast. Aroma is fruits, alcohol, some mild spices and mild burnt sugary notes as well. Flavour is candy sugar, some alcohol, mild spices, fruits and rather sweet maltyness. Also some mild notes of marzipan noteable. Alcohol a bit strong, otherwise a rather nice brew.

Bottle from Alko (BB 09/2011)
First Italian micro in Finnish Alko. Deep amber-red color, small off-white head. Strong nutty, alcoholic, malty and a bit berryish nose. Medium to full bodied. Sharp metallic flavor. Sweet alcoholic, a bit nutty and caramelly with grassy hops. Finish is quite alcoholic. Really nothing special. Well, warming!
