(33cl bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Clear, copper colour with a medium-sized light-beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with caramel, alcohol and a whiff of herbal hops. Sweet flavour, quite full bodied with a well-carbonated, almost soft mouthfeel. Strong toasted malty base with caramel and subtle fruity notes; sweet toasty malty finish with a rather strong but also non-disturbing alcoholic touch and traces of herbal hops. Lacks a bit fruity Ale-character, blindfolded I´d guessed this one was a Doppelbock.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a small and yellow-coloured, non-persistent frothy head. Moderately sweet and slightly acidic malty nose light notes of citrus and an ethereal herbal touch. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Straw-malty, slightly grainy and subtle fruity taste; sweet and faint bitter finish with a present but also warming alcoholic touch. Drinkable but nothing special.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, amber colour with a beautiful, slowly lacing, light-beige foamy head. Sweet and nutty toast-malty aroma with caramel and shy hoppy notes in the background. Sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Aromatic toasty and nutty malt-character with notes of toffee lingering into the sweet and moderately bitter finish. Pleasant.

(Draught at Delirium Café, Gothenburg, 31 July 2007) Golden yellow colour with greenish tinges, white head. Malty nose with grassy hop aromas, hay, timothy-grass and a hint of basil. Malty, bready taste with white bread, hay and notes of grassy hops in the finish. Fairly dry, but with some malt sweetness. A decent continental lager.

bottle, bought in Switzerland. Bright golden colour, clear, quite large head, which was not very persistent. Malty and slightly sweet with a touch of fruit. Very hoppy and bitter in the finish and aftertaste, which is quite pleasant. A bit too much alcohol in the flavour though.
