Description
German Tradition. Crafted in Michigan.

Join us in the heart of Cedar Springs for a freshly crafted beverage and a flavorful meal from our sustainably sourced kitchen, featuring fresh pub fare and a traditional German Bavarian menu. We are located on Main Street and back up to the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park, just 18 minutes north of Grand Rapids.

The company that became Cedar Springs Brewing Company was founded in March of 2013 as David Ringler searched for a location to bring Gemütlichkeit to his West Michigan home. In working with several local investors, a location was found in December of that year at the corner of Maple and Main Streets in downtown Cedar Springs, right on the White Pine Trail, a vertical Michigan State Park.

Cedar Springs Brewing Company opened its doors to the public on November 13, 2015 with a beer lineup focused on traditional Bavarian styles, along with American craft options, and a menu rooted in Oberbayern (Upper Bavaria) to compliment an American smokehouse pub menu.
We hope you’ll enjoy our little blend of the Vaterland meeting the New World.
Prost!

Draft from a keg at a friend's house. Thanks for sharing Adam! Pours a clearish gold with a full two fingers of white head that lingers. Clove, bubblegum and light lemon aromas as it warms. Light and refreshing on the palate with a lingering lemon, clove note. Very smooth and light.

Clear orange-brown body, thin cream head. Aroma big, sweet, and estery with cloves and banana. Body a medley of light fruits (apple and pear, especially), circus peanuts, and warming alcohol. Nice.

Clear coppery body, medium dense off-white head. Nose caramely, toasty. Rich bready, toasty, caramely body with herbal hops and a touch of raisin. Body rather soft with sluggish carbonation. Could use a bit more zip but I liked it.

On tap at MBGSF 2018. Gold pour with a light haze and a white head. Aroma is lightly sweet pale malt, apple. Flavor has pale malt, nice spicy German hops, with a nice level of sweetness in there. Well done.
