Taste is bitter, zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of orange and mandarine, orange peel, some lemon, lemon peel, minimally sugary, pale and minimally wheaty, malty background. 330ml bottle [as Barnimer Bock, 6.4% abv]. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, pale malty aroma with a starchy touch of wallpaper paste, fruity hints of yellow stone fruit. Taste is dry and fruity hoppy, malty basis with subtle residual sweetness and a minimally starchy touch, hints of yellow stone fruit, berries; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying, simultaneously dry, even minimally repellent palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, flawless, sporting this starchy touch I personally dislike but that is probably unavoidably connected with the style - not bad overall.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Pale and caramel malty aroma, relatively weak, citrusy, zesty hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, orange, lemon tea; funky, tangy whiffs of infection. Taste is dry hoppy, pale and caramel malty without residual sweetness, a weak, tart-ish, funky touch of infection, hints of lemon, lemon peel, lemon tea. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. A light but not really disturbing touch of infection, slightly overcarbonated, a rather restricted number of hop flavours (e.g. compared to their Hundert Pale Ale - probably very nice as Sour/Wild IPA if the infection developes its full aftermath.
