Hazy dark brown, beige head with some lacing. The aroma has notes of cooking chocolate and quite a bit of distilled spirit and oaky spice notes. The oak is sharp but not totally aggressive. The taste is mostly dry, with only little dark malts, low on roast - there's very little porter in it, to be honest - but big on brandy / oak flavouring and spice. So, a weak base beer and the strong soaked chip notes, along with the thin body, almost make it feel like a flavoured drink.

Hazy ruby, pink head. The aroma is sweet low acidity fruit, very little malt / sugar sweetness, light pomace / stale fruit notes along with a hint of acetic. Taste: low fruity swetness, mild fruit tartness with some tannic fruit notes. A little of that oxidized fruit stuff here too and gentle nutty / seedy bitterness. Light, refreshing, juicy, a bit untidy. Not bad.

Hazy golden, white head. The aroma is very faint - a little cereal, light sourdough notes, even some pickle brine. Similar taste - very neutral, cereal notes, sourdough, spent grain, light malt / honey sweetness. A fermented wort at its very basics... a little too barbarian, though.

A beautiful clear amber-red, big off-white head. The aroma is pomace and a plastic recipient that held wine last week. The taste has light malts, some fruit tartness and tannins, and lots of those unwashed plastic barrel notes too.

Murky amber, frothy ivory head. The aroma is sticky sweet dried red fruit and caramel, licorice / minty malts, more harsh vegetal / husky and green hops. Similar taste - caramel and red fruit dwarfed by harsh pungent piney / herbal bitterness. Really harsh and hard to drink. Too young, to fresh, and freshness works against it.

On tap @Smokehouse in Chisinau-Moldova. Proper clear golden pour a bit dark with a long-lasting medium foam. Nose: OMG smells like a peach-soap! Mouthfeel: detergent, it is terrible! Oh gosh

Hazy golden, small white head. Clean malts, barely something fruity - next to no aroma. The taste is juicy tart sea buckthorn, light and quenching, well carbonated, with a bit of buckthorn skin astringent bitterness. Not much malts, alcohol or hops to resemble a proper beer, but it is a really nice quncher or a table drink.

Muddy dark brown, beige head. The aroma has some nice chocolate, but also lots of boiling / raw hops and even wort. The taste dominated by big resiny and, again, raw hops bitterness. The aftertaste feels as if you've chewed some hop pellets. Juicy chewy mouthfeel. The hops are just too young, brutal and untamed.

Hazy amber, frothy ivory head. Smells of wet stale malts, crystal, vague grapefruit lollipops and definitely some sharp alcohols. Tastes like macerated malts, medium sweet, very sharp and boozy bitterness. Something went wrong.

NITRO at Smokehouse. Opaque muddy brown, creamy Nitro head. Very light dark chcolate and coffee grounds, barely perceivable hops. The taste is the other way around - barely perceivable malts, and loads of acrid grassy hops. Cannot get any extra smoothness from the nitrogen. Same as basic co2, basically. 3,3/5.

GROWLER. Muddy dark brown, small mocha head. The aroma has quite a bit of dark chocolate, pastry, quite hoppy too - mostly green hop matter. The taste is much more green hops than stout, the green matter is all over the malts, followed by resiny fresh green hop bitterness. The body does not feel smoother than normally either. Probably needs a bit more time for hops to settle. 3,3/5.
