Clear ruby, short-lived beige head. The aroma is really weak - some egg / sulfur / water upfront. Light dark malts and slightly moldy dark fruit, pomace later on. Surprisingly, the taste is just as bland, especially considering the high declared abv. Light dark sugars, completely dry dark fruit and cherries. Light clean spicy bitterness - the only bright spot here. Thin body, low carbonation. Not bad as a light Dunkel, but so far from being a bock.

Clear dark gold, ivory head. Aroma: malt sugars, a littlle macerated cereals, dried candied apples slightly soaked in alcohol. maybe just askight hint of alcohol, but it does stand well behind the sugars. Not much hops, if any. Solid body with hefty yet not sugary malts, smooth low carbonation mouthfeel. Moderate herbal / peppery bittenres with a hint of alcohol. not the finest strong lager, still not bad.

6/8/2018. Bottle courtesy of trade with ciocanelu. Cheers! Pours clear pale gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of hops, grass, citrus, yeast, flowers, herbs and a light spicy edge. Medium plus sweetness with light bitterness and just a hint of tartness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Dry, sweet, fruity, yeasty finish. Quite enjoyable.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy golden, white head. Stone fruit and minimal malt sugars, spicy phenols and light fermenting fruit astringency - quite an authentic Belgian Golden. Similar taste - fruit and mild honey with some drying puckering spice, dry and juicy at the same time. Fruity and bready, lightly spicy finish with almost no real bitterness. Really quenching. A solid medium gravity Belgian Golden.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear dull dark amber, soapy head. The aroma is slightly spicy, slightly fermented honey glazed baked apples - quite typical for a generic belgian ale. Same taste, just less sweet, a tad thin body, with a moderate lingering spicy bitterness. Light and quenching, generic, but clean.
