Appearance: Hazy orange, moderate white head of decent retention. Aroma: pineapple, earth, orange, dank. Taste: more brutal. Earth upfront. Juicy as well. Pineapple, orange. Dank. Light sweet. Medium bitter. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: a mountain IPA? Not really just a juicy classic IPA. Like it or not, I like it.

Appearance: Hazy deep yellow with a good white head. Aroma: tropical fruit, citrus, crackers, a bit of ale yeast. Taste: Light sweet, fruity. Mostly slack citrus. Malt and yeast behind. Light to medium ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: acceptable as a first NEIPA effort.

Appearance: opaque deep brown to black with a large beige head of good retention. Aroma: toasted and roasted malts, chocolate pie, cream, a bit vinous. Taste: light sweet, highly roasted, coffee, chocolate, cream, hop. Light to medium ending hop bitterness. Mouth feel: mellow, light to medium body, soft to average carbonation. Bottom line: nice balance, tasty, light-bodied.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a moderate ivory-coloured head of decent retention. Aroma: Roasted malts / barley, coffee, pie crust, chocolate, cherries, New World hop. Taste: Medium dry, fairly roasted, coffee, pie crust, cherry-filled chocolates, floral hop, distant lactose (if ever). Light to medium ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Light to medium body. Average to lively carbonation. Overall: A well made blend. Tasteful.

Look: opaque deep brown with a large beige head of perfect retention. Aroma: citrus fruit, spruce, light toast, earth. Taste: medium dry, hoppy. Citrus. Additional toast, chocolate, spruce. Solid ending bitterness. Mouth feel: ligh plus body, average carbonation. Summary: pretty decent.
