Appearance: cloudy deep gold with a two finger tall white head of good retention. Aroma: somewhat subdued, resin, pine needles, citrus fruit, catty hints. Taste: not highly intense. Light sweet, medium bitter, relatively calm. Citrus fruit, pine & resin. Palate: Light to medium body. average to hogh carbonation. Summary: OK, would ask for more body.

Appearance: cloudy deep gold with a moderate white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: citrusy, tropical, somewhat catty, malty. Taste: light to medium sweet, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, malt. Medium minus ending bitterness. Palate: medium body and carbonation. Overall: a good classic IPA.

Appearance: hazy ochre yellow with a large off-white airy head of medium retention. Aroma: stale citrus, oxidized malt, distant tropical fruit, lupulin powder. Taste: light to medium sweet, citrus, oxidized malt, vanilla, lupulin powder, spicy hop, light alcohol burn. Palate: medium minus body, lively carbonation. Overall: it had its moderate flaws. Certainly not a disaster though.

500ml can from Bochka in Moscow. Beer style 123 out of 123 here on RateBeer. Pours black with a tall light brown head. Aroma is sulphur/rotten eggs. Taste is citrusy hops, burnt bread, faint roasted malt. Medium bodied. Medium bitter finish. Pretty good, shame about the aroma.

Appearance: foggy light amber, large off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: malts, esters including melon, honey, walnuts. citrus fruit. a hint of resin. Taste: light to medium sweet, (oxidized) biscuit malt, honey, grapefruit, walnut, a hint of resin in aftertaste. Palate: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: not that catchy. Rather unimpressive. Might have been oxidized.

Appearance: fogged chestnut brown with a moderate beige head of decent retention. Aroma: toasted malts, some roast, citrus hop, hints of chocolate and coffee, medicine. Taste: pretty similar, medium dry. Light to medium ending bitterness. Hoppy aftertaste. Palate: light to medium body, medium carbonation. Overall: could have been a decent hoppy dark lager. Bothering medicine.

Appearance: Cloudy yellow to orange with a small white head of loe retention. Aroma: dominant orange (almost fanta-like), sour milk, some malt. Taste: medium sour, light sweet, lots of orange, yoghurt. Palate: light to medium body, lively carbonation. Summary: rather simple, not that refined, well drinkable, just OK.
