(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 10 May 2007) Dark amber colour with firm, beige head. Fruity nose with dark fruit, toffee and caramel. Slightly roasted. Fruity taste with notes of dark fruit, orange, caramel and toffee. Lots of of hops in a rather balanced fruity, hoppy finish. Nice one.

Frist rating(Draught at The Rover, Göteborg) Clear dark brown to black color, thick tan head. Sweet, acidic and butterscotch scent. Thin mouthfeel, sweet, dry and slightly roasted aftertaste. Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Clear copper colour, firm, majestic head. Rich aroma of grapefruit and lychee. Very dry and fairly light bodied with crisp, clean mouthfeel. The light body has a hard time supporting all the grapefruity hops. Inky extremely bitter finish.

Bottle. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, spices. Flavour is hop, caramel, nut , malt, spices. ok beer.

(Draught at The Rover, Göteborg) Clear dark copper color, big lasting tan head. Weak apricot and hops scent, also sweet and some spruce. Bitter taste, a bit metallic aftertaste. Full mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Bottle. Clear, chestnut body with a beige head. It has malt, hops and some spicyness in the aroma. In the mouth it is a bit soapy, medium fullness, and flavors of malt, some spices, nuts and hops. Spiced and hoppy finish as well. The beer is quite good, yet not my cup of tea. (070427)

(Bottle) Dark reddish brown colour with beige, firm, slowly diminishing head. Malty nose dominated by toffee, chocolate, coffee and citrussy hops in almost perfect harmony. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toffee, Seville orange, coffee and citrussy hops in the finish. Lots of good stuff in this one, coffee tend to take over the aroma after a while. Toffee, caramel and citrus tend to dominate the taste. But everything in perfect balance. Liquid harmony.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm (possibly the first pint ever commercially poured). Clear deep golden, average sized firm head. Lightly apply grass aroma. Sweet, medium bodied, clean mouthfeel. Dense and salty with restrained hoppiness but a wealth of malt flavour. A fairly refreshing beer that does not stick out.

(Draught at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg) Clear brown color, small tan to brown head. Fresh scent with a roasted touch. Hoppy bitter taste with some roasted coffee right in the beginning and then again in the aftertaste. Nice high bitterness. Medium mouthfeel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, fully golden with a small, off-white head - unfortunately it dissipates in seconds. The aroma is fresh and hoppy with the citric Cascades shining through. The body is medium, clean and malty but completely dominated by the good hops also leaving some bitterness. Excellent.´The best Swedish microbrewers do an excellent job of hopping their lagers, something their Danish equivalents seem to shy away from. 020107
