Quite pale, yellow. Thin head. On the nose, a bit of skunk cabbage and a bit of litterboxy citra. On the palate, same thing. Lots of citra, moderate bitterness, and it comes across fairly juicy.

Bright, pale amber. Thin head. On the nose, some light fruity hops and biscuity malts. Mild bitterness and that nice malt almost shortbready malt character is coming through really well. It seems like it has a touch of tartness late, but mostly there’s a mellow bitterness that balances this malt well. My take is that this needs a lot more hop to be an actual kellerbier, but can pass as a pilsner just fine.

Bright copper colour, slight haze. Pretty nice old fashion biscuity malt, but not sticky; strong bitterness with vegetable notes, not offensive, but the hopping could have some bright character too. Ok.

16oz on Alex's porch. Appearance: almost clear golden with a white head. Aroma: weird crispy vegetable notes, some sourness. Taste: along the same lines, very bitter, harsh. Overall: not a good thing.

This is quite dull, like dull muddy pale brown. It's quite unattractive, really. Smells chewy, oxidized, not good. It's bitter, and has some chewy sweetness. It's not great.

473mL can, pours a fairly clear dark copper with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a herbal and piney hop character upfront, with plenty of caramel and bready malt. Flavour is on the herbal side in the hop department, with a bit of vegetal character, backed by a malty bready and caramel backbone. Finishes fairly bitter and herbal. There's a bit too much herbal/vegetal character there for me, but this is competently brewed. Solid.

Soft marzipan on the nose, has cloudy yellow body with little foam. Flavour is bitter lemony citrus, sweet and not too bad. Mouthfeel is watery and a little cloying sadly. Still very easy to drink for seven percent.

Muddy rotting cabbage aroma, has clear orangey copper body with no foam. Flavour is nice saccharine pine and resin, has a full mouthfeel with nice oiliness. A good big IPA.
