Description
Langley was, and still largely is, farm country! We want to share our love of craft beer with the community we grew up in. With every can, bottle, glass or growler that we fill, we will strive to deliver the exceptional customer service of days gone by. Our brewery is built on the traditional old-fashioned country values of hard work, honesty, helping your fellow neighbour, working together and rewarding yourself at the end of a hard day’s work with a well-deserved brew.

Very soft grain aroma, too weak really. Has good semi-cloudy copper body and some decent foam. Flavour is boring grain and caramel, mouthfeel is reasonably dry. This is pretty boring, not awful but correctly brewed nonetheless.

Bright sweet hops on the nose, has cloudy yellow body with good foam. Flavour is a nice mix of lemon, resin, and pine. Mouthfeel is full with nice oiliness. This is an excellent ISA.

The aroma is soft caramel with some iced tea qualities about it. Has a good deep gold body with modest foam. Flavour is reasonable caramel, some soft lager hops, and vague hazelnut but only just maybe. Mouthfeel is somewhat dry. It's boring but okay.

Nice banana aroma, some bubble gum. Has good foam on a foggy yellow body. Flavour is bright chalky wheat, very nice. Mouthfeel is also bone dry and very nice. This is very good.

Good apricot smell, like fresh pressed apricots. Has cloudy orange body with some soft foam. Flavour is some slightly muddy and tinny apricot, more tart than sour as is often the case with these things. The tinniness lingers - this is a missed opportunity.

Can from Firefly, Vancouver
Golden colour, slight haze, with compact head. The aroma is slightly fruity, flowery, also some wilt flowers. Good mouthfeel, some bread flavour; there is some butter feeling too, but I'll write it off and think it's the Sabro (coconut) profile instead; it has a bit of that ESB earthiness in the finish. As an old style Pale Ale, not bad.

Dark amber, just a bit of haze. Medium haze. Has a lot of sweet malt on the nose, almost a touch of caramel to it. On the palate, that rich, caramelized malt sweetness is evident up front, with a mellow bitterness. Good balance and I kind of like that the malt stands out more than the hop.

On tap at Farm Country, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals subdued fruits and a bit of tart lacto. Flavour reveals the rhubarb and strawberries upfront, followed by tart lacto. The fruits are pleasantly expressed making this quite drinkable. Simple but tasty.
