Bottle (Danke, Jonas !): Clear, greenish-golden coloured, stable white fluffy head; grainy-bisquity nose with alcoholic traces and some lemony-grassy undertones; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; solid hoppy-honeyish finish. Moreish, well balanced Heller Bock...........

Orangeish golden beer with a white head, bit fluffy. Fresh citrussy nose, very unBock-like. Really smelling like a Belgian Tripel - until the finish where some sweet-malty notes appear, as well as some vanilla. Sweetish, spicy flavour, ending ever so slightly hoppy-bitterish. Seems quite well-attenuated, again pretty tripel-ish. Bit of liquorice, ending earthy. Bit burning MF; light, but obvious alcoholwarming; medium bodied. Nice Bock, unusual. Danke, joss!

Bottle: Pale golden, thinner white fluffy head with a little lace; hayish-grassy influences in the grainy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; a bit harsh in the bitter-sweet finish. Rather a hop-accented Helles, not very well rounded.............

Ok. Test vom 4.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,8,10,8 - 8,05

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a clear golden with a dense, white head. Very solid and malty aroma. Quite full-bodied with a nice malt base and again some flower accents from the hops. The finish is dry where the hops nicely balances the malt sweetness. This is actually rather close to a Heller Bock. 080408

Gut gelungenes Pils.
