Description

Bottle at the Pozarevac tasting in Serbia 10242015, courtesy of John Nolan. rare (retired) vintage bottle. Many thanks John! Pours dark brown color, little ivory gassy phenomenon on the surface. Nose: barrel, a bit of wood (nice), some silky coffee notes. Interesting. Mouth: alcohol, cherries, dry fruit, rich taste. So tasty despite its 7 years.

2008 vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out complex wine barrels, some musty grape skins, and a lovely tartness. Flavour is clean and well-balanced, with lightly tart wine barrels and musty grape skin. Not a whole lot of complexity, but it's very clean and laid-back. Very nice stuff.

Taste comprises end of the tin pineapple chunks, funky, tarte melon, sweaty towel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with semi puckerings. Very simple and should really deliver more ABV considered!
