Bottle premiered for start of football season hoping to make rating 2800 but I fucked up and it’s 2801. 2011 vintage Pours flat orange yellow with tart nose of lemons and wood. Tastes of lemons, pears, apple skin, wooden barrel, barnyard, some candy sugar. Tart palate. Enjoyable thanks again Alberto.

big thick malty nose. Fairly sweet, but a bit simple without much depth. Ok lingering red wine character in the finish.

Bottled (backlog). Murky brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is berries, alcohol, sweet malts, some fruity and nutty notes as well. Flavour is sweet alcohol along with some berries, toffee, mild yeast and some fruity notes as well. Quite boozy, but otherwise the elements are quite right.

At a tasting, small bubbly head, cloudy rusty orange to very light brown color, honey and wax aroma with some candy in the back, flavor of manure and a strange spiciness with some dried fruits in the back as the beers warms up, very sweet and alcoholic. Over the top, almost undrinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at tomer’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy orange. Aroma of cardboard, fruitiness, a bit of honey. Sweet flavor with honey, cardboard, fruitiness, and a bit of alcohol in a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Pours dark brown, almost looking like a stout. Aroma reveals somewhat sweet and sticky nature of the beer, definitely great for desserts. Taste is sweet, has some dark fruits, soaked in liquor. Overall, definitely a top notch beer, just being overshadowed a bit by some others I had during this evening.

Owl Farm, Brooklyn tap: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is dark fruit, earthiness, a little bit of alcohol, and some yeast. Taste is a little bit sweet. Plenty of fruitiness and earthiness. It is more subdued than one might have expected. That said it was good.
