Description

Pink head gone in secs; very deep dark-red - nearly brown beer.Very little nose, not even fruity. Very nice, nearly full-fruity taste, nearly tart, ending jam-like, sweeter, rosewater. Medium bodied, fruit-filled, slick. Very nice, ultimately interesting fruitbeer. PLEASE! A mulberry lambic, someone, PLEASE!

Good white head, receding with lacerings; nearly clear golden beer. Dry grainy nose, rainwater quality, mineral; slightly bready (white bread). Bit dull, grainy taste, again point of mineral. Bubble gum retronasal. Light body, slightly creamy texture. Nice basic beer, good as a nice "session" drinker. WAS: 7/4/6/3/13 3.3/5 2012 more bitter version, tasted on draught Small white head over hazy light yellow beer. Hops (EU, but noble, aromatic). Slightly grassy, spicy afterwards. Sweetish, bit doughy, but retronasal quite grassy notes. Bit Pilsener-like; less bitter than the nose would suggest. Light, gristslickness. Better than the sum of its parts.

Draught Very yeast-filled yellow beer with a dense, huge, light-yellow head. Nice, spicy & grassy nose, I can trace the coriander, but not the sage - blending in a very balanced way. Some greenmalt notes. Spiciness even more outspoken in the taste. Just a point of acidity. Faint restsugars. Very carbonated, spritzy MF; not really light, too much malt and restsugars. More Saison than many commercial Belgian saisons I’ve tasted - let alone the superstrength USA "saisons".

Short-lived head, amberish-red beer with a very slight hazee. Faint fruity aroma, as well as a distinct but discreet alcohol nose. Bit oppressive alcohol flavour, complexed by many fruity esters and -flavours. Toasted malts, piebottom. Autolysis probable. Quite burning MF, much alcoholwarming, long-lasting. Dangerous concoction, if too overwhelming to be but sipped carefully.

Black beer, with greige head. Coffee, oak, wood lactic, fruit, vinous and milk chocolate. Beautiful flavour, with all the former aromas repeated in the taste. Very mild lactic acid. Well oily, full bodied, alcohol warming. Beautiful, refined product.
