On tap at Hoppy Days, first glass from the keg. Black colour, beige-brown head. Aroma of clear Brettanomyces, like a cinnamon fart, wood, hard-roasted malts, ink (not just suggestion), leather, tar. Flavour is medium sweet, Brettanomyces, cinnamon, wood, light booze, ink, leather, heavily roasted, firm bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Not sure if the Brett is supposed to be there, but it’s nice anyway.

On tap at Hoppy Days, sampler. A Mexican lager from Italy, wow... Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of corn, some butter, yeast, light hoppy, peas, weird. Flavour is sweet, yeasty, corn, light malty, butter, some citrus, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Not very good, or in bad shape. Either way, I didn’t order a full glass. 43528 Re-rate, bottled version. Hazy pale golden, white head. Aroma of bready malts, yeast, hops, citrus, lime. Flavour is hoppy, light yeasty, malty, lime, firm bitter finish, light soapy. Light-bodied. Much better than my previous tap sample. 737313

On tap at Hoppy Days. Black colour, dense creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, mocha, coffee beans. Flavour is medium sweet, roasted malts, bitter chocolate, mocha, burnt caramel, nice malty bitter finish. Medium-bodied, very tasty. Not much rosemary detected. Re-rate, second glass a week later, fresh keg I guess: Lots of rosemary in both aroma and taste, light resinous, it does dominate here a bit too much. Still really nice though.
