Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hops and spiced rye aftertaste. Above average overall.

Can. Amber, white head. Mild aroma of a mixture of citrus fruit, somewhat husky grain, pepper. Some biscuit. Much sweeter than anticipated and there’s some honey with the biscuit as well as a bit of boiled lolly. Quite bitter at the end with some herbal and spiced lemon. OK.
