Draught @ Taste Of The Himalayas, San Rafael, CA. Pours a hazy light amber colour and a stiff off white head with retention and lacing. Aroma's of grainy malt, flowery hops, tea leaves, resin. Flavour is moderate bitter. Light bodied. Firm bitter finish. Pleasant.

Another old fashioned brew I got my hands on this weekend. Dark brownish black brew. Nose is roast and chocolate. Tastes of dark chocolate, ash,licorice, roasted malt, hint of berry.dry and creamy. Some bitters to finish.

On tap at the brewery pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice big roast malts coffee chocolate and ash. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate ash roast coffee.

On tap at the brewery pours out copper color topped with a sand head. Nose is nice crisp fresh bacon light smoke and some grain. Taste is more of the nice bacon forward smoke and sweetness.

On tap at the brewery pours out a hazy straw color topped with a white head. Nose is tropical fruit hops citrus and a touch of sweetness. Taste is more of the nice sweet tropical fruit hops and a touch of bitterness on the end.

2018 side by side, score based on 2013: Marin old dipsea 2012. Poured an orange with a bubble. Aroma is light malts some spice. Taste is soft maybe past it’s time. Marin old dipsea 2013. Poured a dark brown with tan ring. Aroma is sweet malt vanilla toffee. Taste is malty sweet little fallen off, toffee vanilla.

Draught @ The Barrel House, Sausalito. Pours slightly hazy golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, little caramel, grass, fruit, light pine. Flavor is light bitter, malt, light caramel, grass, fruit, little piney. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 170718
