On draft at Dublin, CA, Whole Foods. Pours a clear orange amber with an off white head. Aroma of cherries. Flavors are sour cherry and wine barrels. Smooth tart finish.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours darkish copper/amber with a foamy beige head. Aroma is very floral with some spicy notes. Med body. Malt is darkish/roasty caramel. This stuff is not dry. The hops are present, floral/peppery, but not in sufficient quantity to knock down the malt. Which is ok with this beer. For me it's a lightly spiced Landbier. Good interpretation, cause I usually am not fond of Viennas. So not very dry, not very bitter, yet flavorful to some extent. I'll work with it.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours very dark brown with a huge foamy tan head. Moderate chocolate aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is slightly hoppy with a chocolate support. Not really dry. Moderately earthy malt. Schwarzbier it is. Nice one.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours bright gold with a foamy white head. Odd fruity aroma. Med + body. Flavor is sort of dry with lightly breadly malt support. It tingles. It expresses spice (but clearly not clove). It's bitter on a non-harsh higher plane. Om! Tasty and refreshing. Does it remind of Cooper's Sparkling Ale? Well it certainly does for me. Lik'in it!

[ As Ale Industries Rye'd Piper ].Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, rye, sweet malt, perfume, rye. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sugary, dark malt, caramel, perfume, rye. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle from Whole Foods. Amber pour with small foamy head. Aroma is rich malts, earthy hops, kinda smoky, tobacco. taste too is natural and dirty, more smoky character. Light hops and nice bready malts. Perhaps closer to an APA, but still an interesting beer.
