[ As Ale Industries Rye'd Piper ].Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, rye, sweet malt, perfume, rye. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sugary, dark malt, caramel, perfume, rye. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle shared at the Chris & Ruth pre GBBF shindig tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours clear amber with a frothy white head. The nose holds toasted grains, earth, minerals. Light to medium sweet flavour with hints of brett, dried berries, further grains, dried bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, with further impressions of brett, some further toasted grains, oily pine. Novel gear.

Bottle split at Chriso’s pre-GBBF Shinding 2016, Day 2, 07/08/16. Lightly hazed amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is citric sherbets, candied orange peel, hop dusting, light pine. Taste comprises sticky fruit pudding, light spice, toasted grains, orange peel, candied fruit peels, sweetish base. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop spattering. Ok.

Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 2 07/08/2016. Bottle picked up in whole foods San Jose. Reddy copper coloured pour with a a loose beige head. Aroma is spicy Rye, pine, hop, little medicinal, nutty toffee. Flavour is composed of bacon brown sugars, maple, pine needle, woody medicinal palate is medium full sticky woody, tannin, Not Bad. .

Pre-gbbf-shinding. Klare dunkel orange braune Farbe, geringe beige schaumkrone. Geruch sehr würzig, dunkles malz, rote Früchte, leicht säuerlich holzig. Geschmack nach reifen roten Früchten, Roggen karamellig, bitter hopfig, nussig.

Draft @ Hoppy Loft. Cuivrée versant vers l’acajou, col crémeux beige. Arôme au bouquet houblonné agrumes, rétro grains - cara pils, seigle un peu trop en avant. Sorte de rappel thé vert. Palais est épicé, donnant une impression de Black IPA. Note agrumes qui se mêle à un malté centré plus sur le carapils, pâle et Munich. Le seigle perdure sur la fin apportant une fine note épicée, cara léger, herbacé sur la fin avec un léger pamplemousse. Ok mais pas le meilleur exemple du style.
