Bottle from Cellar Door Four Oaks via Sarkynortherner cheers Martin; golden yellow pour with a creamy white head, aroma has light lemon, sweet malts, taste has citrus, refreshing.

Bomber. Tall Boys, Leeds. As Mavericks Amber Ale. Hazy, reddy amber. Good covering of lasting, off white head. Nose has light toffee malts. Some berry fruit. Some earthy nuttiness. Taste is light dry. Light sweet. Foamy mouthfeel. Light dry finish. Probably well past it’s prime, and just about OK as a result.

Can from Bottle Baron. Hazy golden body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of fresh hops, orange and pine needles. Flavour of lime jelly, menthol and a long bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A bold, bitter IPA... but it’s not particularly easy drinking.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with a massive frothy tan head, aroma has coffee and some sweet lactose action, taste has creamy coffee, some roast, a hint of milk chocolate, ok.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy light copper pour with a creamy magnolia head, aroma grapefruit and some sweet malts, taste has a hint of pine, bitter grapefruit, caramel and some sweet malts.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a dark brown colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, coffee, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth rich sweet sticky toffee pudding, creamy caramel, lactose, coffee, chocolate palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
